Best, Dance, Evar. Better than last one by million miles! Mostly because of the dressing up part. It was great dressing up all fancy and seeings others do so too. Felt pretty mature. It made me feel good about myself too, I looked pretty damn handsome with my attire tonight. Too bad there were no photos of me that night, haha. In brief, Black dress shirt + White tie + black dress pants + dress shoes. Did not overdress, and manage to standout, in a good way. Mission accomplished indeed!
Man the location for the dance was so hard to find. The Columbus house was easy to find since that property is huge. But the actual building where the dance took place, good grief, it was a journey. I was walking around with Mr. Berenstein, Mr. Regan, Mr. Onizuka trying to find that place! Had to call Felicia like four times just to locate it haha. We managed to arrive on time however.
Unsurprisingly, everyone else had problems too. But I was one of the early birds! Fortunately, Stephen, Helen, and Andrew arrived not so much later to keep me company. Hehe, I had to tie Stephen’s necktie for him. Thank youtube for this godly lesson. haha. Lol I think I should have fixed Andrew’s tie as well, it was a four-hand knot and was tied too short. Could have made him look prettier! But he looked exquisite nonetheless. It was pretty cool seeing everyone (for the most part) all dressed up.
It took a while until things picked up, most of the grade 12s arrived late (unsurprisingly). However the most ausum moment was seeing…. none other than….. Jia Ming and Alex M. (gifty) walk into the dance room. Yes. The two. Shortly followed by The Machine: Chen Fei Du. No they did not dance. Well Alex did at the end. Chen Fei brought his laptop over and was on it the whole night. He looked pretty concentrated and intense when I looked at him, so I walked over to check things out, to find out he was playing pinball. Fun…. Then he moved on to civilization. Oddly however, he attracted many nerdy girls to his table, enveloping him. Followed by teachers questioning him for his motives. It was a priceless moment. But my life felt a bit out of place after tonight, seeing how these… gifted boys attend a dance. Of course, they only came for 1% from Mancini’s class. But impressive nonetheless! Kind of make those of you that did not attend feel a bit odd, does it not?
And no Sepher was not drunk tonight, I think. But Laura was. But I like drunk Laura, she’s so nice. She kept on complimenting me on my clothes, and she doesn’t go to that extent when she’s sober! Haha she’s like my best friend when drunk! No, that’s what Ruben said, not me.
And this night could not have been anymore special… without…. Hwong Gyu. Yes he was at the dance, strutting. He even used a wooden umbrella to add onto his act. He created dance circles, people danced with him, girls danced with him, so forth. He really is the most popular kid in our school. He was ALL OVER The dance floor! Like literally! His dance moves were quite aggressive tonight, kind of watching a martial artist doing his acts, but epic nonetheless.
Dance itself was fun. The songs were quite vibrant in variety this time. They actually played rows of Rock music! A remix of bon jovi, metallica, van halen, acdc, GNR cuts in one! Andrew was so happy as soon as that track was on. A bit of an orgasmic state. But yeah he was happy. Follow up was Bon Jovi – its my life. A lot of people knew the lyrics to the song! we all sang along while dancing to this epic track! Haha This is surely a night to remember, especially for Howard-san :p. But good grief dancing with dress shoes = painful. Plus I was sweating like 300 pigs tonight and my dress shirt got all wet so fast haha. Prom is sure going to be fun! hahaha.
Blaaaah. For those of you that missed out on tonight, Shame, SHAME on YOU! You missed the school’s last dance of the year! Blarg. So good. Even saw vith and Kevin Banh tonight! haha they prolly think I’m whacked now after they seen me let loose like an animal haha. But that’s what you do in an event like this, go crazy, let loose, have fun! Man, I’m so excited for prom. Can’t wait.
